ASLA Conference in San Diego

Said to be the largest gathering of landscape architects and allied professionals in the world, the 2019 ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture took place in November.

Over four days delegates came together to learn, celebrate and build relationships at the San Diego Convention Center.

The Street Furniture Australia team were pleased to introduce US landscape architects to Wood Without Worry, our low-maintenance timber alternative.

The Aria modular furniture system and Augmented Reality site furniture app were also on show at a well-attended PPN Explore the Floor talk.

For Happy Hour we even served Australian apple cider through our Drinking Fountain, which attracted a curious crowd.

Cider Fountain at Happy Hour

Batlow Apple Cider, all the way from the Snowy Mountains in New South Wales, Australia, was served through an Arqua Drinking Fountain.

Experiments getting the water pressure right paid off, as a whole keg was served to an intrigued audience. (Please note the Cider Fountain is a prototype designed for the event and not for hire/sale.)

Augmented Reality

Juanita Marlowe, our USA Sales Manager, demonstrated our Build Aria augmented reality app. This enables designers to drag and drop modular parts to build their own seat and visualise it in any location.

A desktop configurator is also available at build.streetfurniture.com
