Spruce & Gander will represent Street Furniture Australia in select US states
Spruce & Gander, the premier source for land and architectural elements in the USA, will represent site furniture designer and manufacturer Street Furniture Australia in select US states from May 2021.
Customers in California, Ohio, Texas, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Indiana and Kentucky will now be supported by Spruce & Gander as a distribution partner.
Street Furniture Australia, a recognised industry leader in Australia, has supplied directly to the US for 20 years including to Mission Dolores Park, San Francisco, to the Google Campus in Kirkland, and the Houston Botanic Garden, Texas.
The team is looking forward to strengthening relationships with US customers in partnership with Spruce & Gander, said Street Furniture Australia Business Development Manager (Export) Juanita Marlowe.
“I’m excited to work with Spruce & Gander as they are a ‘boutique’ source for site furniture based in California. They came highly recommended by various landscape architects I have been building relationships with. Their go-to-market strategy and people are very similar – we are a great fit,” she said.
Spruce & Gander is pleased to bring on Street Furniture Australia’s offering of seating, tables, drinking fountains, bicycle parking, bollards, planters and rubbish bins.
Developed over 35 years of supplying furniture to public spaces in the tough Australian climate, the thoughtful product design and durable materials are also well-suited for facilitating an outdoor lifestyle in American environments.
“We saw the need for a high quality, beautifully-designed site furniture line in the US,” said Suzanne Anderson, CEO of Spruce & Gander.
“I personally love Street Furniture Australia’s attention to detail, in the products and also in how they do business. They are organized and look to work with honesty and integrity. The people are helpful and supportive, and a joy to work with.”
Products will continue to be made-to-order at the Street Furniture Australia factory in Sydney, Australia, and shipped to the United States.
Spruce & Gander customers are invited to an introduction to Street Furniture Australia through a Tea Time presentation – a 10-minute chat via Zoom, with complimentary gift box of Australian T2 tea sent to your home or office.
To celebrate the new partnership the first 20 bookings will receive a bottle of wine from the famous Barossa Valley in South Australia. This region is known for its Shiraz, with rich plum flavours and notes of berries and chocolate.
To book please contact Spruce & Gander with your preferred date and time, 877.650.7711 or info@spruceandgander.com – or fill out the booking form.
