Now with integrated dog bubbler

The Arqua Fountain, an advanced hi-tech drinking fountain, is now available with integrated dog bubbler.

The all-in-one fountain allows passers-by to take a drink, refill a 600 ml bottle, and even rehydrate their dog, with minimum fuss.

Street Furniture Australia has been continually refining the Arqua Fountain since its first release in 2006. More than 700 Arqua Fountains have been installed in schools, parks, transport hubs and on university campuses.

The dog bubbler, activated by stepping on a paw button, creates an instant water supply at ground-level, then drains the water to maintain hygiene.

A number of new features make this innovative bubbler stand out. Co-designer Darrel Conybeare says, “The Arqua Fountain is designed to display a jewel-like presence in its urban setting”. Available in a range of colours and finishes, the Arqua Fountain is a stylish yet practical addition to any urban landscape.

RSL revives memorial fountain

War memorials in towns across the country are being restored to honour the Centenary of Anzac, with a new drinking fountain the latest upgrade to Taree’s Fotheringham Park. The original fountain was installed in 1960 by the Manning River Air Force Association, but fell into disrepair. Some 55 years later an Arqua Drinking Fountain from Street Furniture Australia takes its place, providing running water again with disabled access and a special feature for pets. Darcy Elbourne, senior vice president of the Taree RSL, which is leading the upgrade, says the fountain is both a valuable memorial to air force personnel and a functional asset for the park. He says, “Taree’s Fotheringham Park is adjacent to the beautiful Manning River and is a major stopover for people traveling between Sydney and …

Arqua Fountain Features on The Project

Street Furniture Australia has partnered with Jon Dee to help make more drinking fountains and refill stations available in public areas. More fountains means less bottled water, which is kinder to your wallet and our environment. For more information on the Arqua Fountain, please see the Arqua Fountain Brochure.
