Morton Road Sports Hub
City of Onkaparinga has built a $3.5 million active recreation hub, dedicated to improving the lives of the local community through sport, in an underpriviledged area in Christie Downs, South Australia. Council, in collaboration with the South Australian Government, the Australian Government, Christie Downs Community House and Roger Rasheed’s Sports Foundation have transformed an underutilised reserve with a new skate park, multi-use courts, junior and youth play spaces, seating, barbecue facilities and a basketball node.
